Cody Askins' story is one of relentless ambition, unwavering faith, and an unbreakable work ethic forged in the small town of Wynne, Arkansas. Growing up in an 800-square-foot, two-bedroom home, Cody learned early that success wasn't going to be handed to him — it had to be earned. Blind in his left eye since age two due to Coats' disease, he never let limitations define him. Instead, he let them fuel him.
At just 20 years old, with $100 to his name and a fire in his gut, Cody got his insurance license while playing college basketball full-time and carrying 21 credit hours. In his first month, he earned $9,000. Within eight months, he had crossed $117,000 — shattering his six-figure goal. By the end of his first calendar year, he had written $250,000 in life insurance premium entirely on his own, cold-calling and door-knocking his way to the top.

Small-Town Hustle
Growing up in Wynne, Arkansas in an 800 sq ft home, Cody started selling on eBay at age 12, earning $10,000 in a single summer by 16. The entrepreneurial fire was lit early — and it never went out.
BREAKTHROUGH
$117K in 8 Months
At 20 years old, with just $100, Cody got his insurance license while playing college basketball and carrying 21 credit hours. In his first 8 months, he earned $117,361.13 — cold-calling and knocking on 50 doors a day.
2015
YouTube Launch
On December 29, 2015, Cody launched his YouTube channel with a mission to share everything he knew about selling insurance. It would grow to become the largest insurance-focused channel in the world with 152K+ subscribers and 3,800+ videos.
2017
Building the Team
Cody hired his first employee in November 2017, marking the transition from solo producer to empire builder. The vision was clear: create systems and platforms that could help agents at scale.
